I'm not sure if this is the right place. . .

Hi, I'm a woman with a thoracic aortic aneurysm, high blood pressure, and a bit of pulmonary hypertension. I recently found out that I have a bicuspid aortic valve with some regurgitation. I also have some other chronic conditions (I belong to some other Health union groups).
My question is: do my heart conditions "fit in" with this group? I didn't see much about them in the search. Thanks! 😀

  1. Hi ,
Thank you for your reply. I am also a member of the migraine, IBS, and sleep disorders (sleep apnea and insomnia) sites. I will stick around here, and perhaps start or participate in some discussions in the future. I'm sure there will be plenty to learn!

    1. You are welcome! We're glad to have you here. Feel free to start or join discussions—there’s always a lot to learn from each other. If there’s any specific information or support you need, don’t hesitate to reach out. Looking forward to getting to know you better! John. community moderator.

  2. Hi. Welcome to our community. I do believe you have come to the right place, as both aortic aneurysm and pulmonary hypertension are indeed types of cardiovascular disease. We do have articles on pulmonary hypertension, as you can see here (https://cardiovasculardisease.net/pulmonary-hypertension). And, interestingly, I talked with a community member a few days ago who also has an aortic aneurysm. However, I do not think this topic has been covered yet by our contributors. So this is definitely something that we can get to. Also, we are a new community, having just started up in February of 2024. So, we are just getting to know everyone here. Likewise, if you want to start the discussion, you are more than welcome to do so here (https://cardiovasculardisease.net/create-thread). What other of our sites are you a member of? Perhaps we've had discussions in the past as I'm also a member of other sites. Wishing you all the best. John. community moderator.
