How do you stay active with CVD?

If you are living with cardiovascular disease (CVD), it does not mean giving up on having an active lifestyle. You can still engage in regular physical activity. It just might look different than before your CVD diagnosis. Even small amounts of movement are beneficial for heart health.

How do you stay active?

  1. WALKING

    1. Walking is an awesome way to get your steps in for the day. Is there anything you like to do while you walk? Sometimes I will plan for the week, take time to de-compress and relax, create to-do lists, or listen to a podcast. Curious to hear what works for you! - Cody (Team Member)

  2. Walking

    1. I plan to stay active and ate healthier

      1. I have a treadmill in my house and that's where I do my walks.

        1. I have Audible so I listen to audio books.

        2. Nice! I recently learned that you can also get audiobooks through the Libby app. It links directly to your local library. Something to consider if you're looking for some free books while you walk. - Cody (Team Member)
