How Can We Prepare For Surgery?
Surgery can be scary, and it takes different types of preparation to go into a procedure.
From ceasing medications, to calming the mind; how do you prepare for a surgical procedure?
agree 💯 about food and the other stuff 😁 my primary is very .... Apathetic.. doesn't seem to care much ( I've always sensed people's feelings) but for my prescriptions he always good.
Maybe I just don't know how things are supposed to be and expect too much... And I am doing better . So....I pray a lot and put my trust in my surgeon. Luckily I have great surgeons... The other care team..not so much.. 
I'm with you on the praying part and trusting your surgeon. For my cardiac catheterizations I like to take a relaxing bath the night before the procedure. I also pack my bag with everything that I will need including chargers and an extra set of clothes just in case. Oh, and I can't forget about food! The hospital doesn't have good food, so I make sure to bring a lunch for after the procedure. What don't you like about the other care team? -Olivia
