Cardiomyopathy Connection

What type of cardiomyopathy are you diagnosed with? How has your condition affected your life? How has your diagnosis affected your condition? Share your experience with cardiomyopathy.

  1. Cardiomyopathy is a ailment of the heart muscle that
can be attributable to genetic factors, underlying clinical situations, unhealthy life-style behaviors, and positive infections. these reasons lead to the heart muscle becoming enlarged, thickened, or stiff, making it more difficult for the coronary heart to pump blood effectively, that may result in signs like shortness of breath, fatigue, swelling, and chest ache

  2. Thank you Sam ❤️

  3. thank you so much, finding information about my disease is very elusive and my primary doc isn't any help (changed doctors twice) same result

  4. Is peripheral artery disease, aortic stenosis and cartoid artery disease part of cardiomyopathy?

    1. Such a great question! The direct answer is no. Cardiomyopathy is a condition related directly with the hear muscle. However, one of the interesting things about cardiovascular disease is how closely related these conditions are due to the nature of the circulatory system. Here is a resource on how the conditions can interact. I hope it helps! -Samuel, community manager
