Tachycardia Long After Exercise

Hello. I am a healthy 53 year old male. Frequently during exercise, I experience tachycardia at about 160 BPM. It only slowly drops and is still 120-130 hours later. I have seen two cardiologist who ran stress tests, holter monitors, echos, scaling cta, etc. Every test showed a healthy heart. My Duke score was 11. The only explanation was that my heart was "reacting" to something but to what we can figure out. Has anyone suffered anything similar?

  1. Hello Kathy. The consensus is that something I am eating or taking ingredients is causing it. Right now I am experimenting eliminating things from my diet, drinking more water and switched around the two medications I am taking. We will see what happens.

    1. Best of luck with figuring out a diet that works for you. All the best, Kathy (Team member)

  2. Your experience must be very frightening and the lack of a reason very frustrating. You aren't alone in having a reason that is difficult to diagnose. One of our health leaders had a similar experience when trying to understand his tachycardia. Is your healthcare team doing anything to treat your tachycardia while searching for the reason? Please let us know how you are doing. All the best, Kathy (Team member)
